PERFECTHEAT Heat Exchanger

The PERFECTHEAT heat exchanger is an highly efficient, smooth flow plate
design and made exclusively in the UK to our specification.

The design operates on the principle of thermosyphonic circulation to rapidly transfer heat from the solar circuit to the water at the top of the hot water cylinder.

PERFECTHEAT Heat Exchanger - Technical / Operating Data

  • Manufactured to Quality Assurance Standard ISO 9002:2001
  • Material: Copper ( all hard brazed construction).
  • Casing - overall dimensions: 800 x 140 mm (H x diameter)
  • Insulation - CFC free, energy saving urethane foam coating
  • Weight (dry) : 5.3kg
  • Fluid content : 1.8 Litre
  • Cold feed connection at base: 22mm compression
  • Hot water outlet connection to cylinder : 15mm diameter copper tube
  • Solar circuit connections : 15mm diameter copper tube

A report based on extensive testing carried out at the Centre for Sustainable Technologies of the Ulster University School for the Built Environment verifies that the PERFECTHEAT heat exchanger consistently outperformed existing twin coil solar technology across a range of tests.
