Use existing DHW cylinder
Just two simple connections are required between the PERFECTHEAT solar heat exchanger and your existing DHW cylinder . This is quicker, cheaper and much more environmentally friendly than the alternative conventional approach. You only need consider a new DHW cylinder if your existing one is too small, scaled up or poorly insulated.

Produces hot water even in marginal conditions
In marginal or intermittent conditions such as are common in the northern hemisphere, particularly in autumn, winter and spring the PERFECTHEAT solar thermal system will produce useable hot water in a way that no other system can at present.
Easy installation
Fitting the PERFECTHEAT solar heat exchanger to an existing hot water cylinder is quick and easy and minimises any possibility of upsetting the existing plumbing system that can occur when you are replacing the existing cylinder with a new solar cylinder.
Factory pre-wired main control cabinet just plugs into an existing socket outlet for minimal electrical disruption. Installed has only to connect the temperature sensor leads and connect the solar pump into the control cabinet. Nothing more required electrically. Everything is done in the factory and pre-tested so that you are 100% certain of it working on site.
Reduced installation costs
The PERFECTHEAT solar thermal system offers significant potential for reduced installation costs and this often amounts to a 50% reduction. A simple solar system can now usually be installed in one day when previously it took two or more days.

Factory pre-wired electrics, all materials (including copper pipe and all compression fittings) supplied and, a proper pump to fill the solar system.
You don’t need waste time shopping around for special nuts and bolts or fittings. All equipment, materials and components are selected so that a competent tradesman or can easily do the job. There is no requirement to make any soldered joints. PERFECTHEAT uses only compression fittings or screwed joints because we do the soldering or brazing that is required in our factory.
No extra costs

The quick and simple installation enables the installer to quote a lower price than if he’d designed his own system and bought all the necessary parts from his various suppliers.
Light and easy to handle for the installer
The light and easy to carry 1.3m2 PERFECTHEAT solar collector panels are robust and will fit comfortably in the van. More importantly their robust construction and handy sizes make them ideal when working on the roof where small is better.
Hot water temperature display
The mini-digital thermometer provides a display for the temperature of the water within the DHW cylinder so that you know how hot it is and can better control your energy consumption under less favourable solar radiation conditions.
Turbo boost feature for rainy days
Optimal use of solar energy depends upon keeping the boiler switched off for as much of the year as possible. The special turbo boost feature enables you to quickly raise the water temperature if it isn’t quite hot enough. The turbo boost control will provide 3KW of heat from an auxiliary electrical heater within the PERFECTHEAT solar heat exchanger for 15, 30 or 60 minutes and then switch OFF automatically so that you don’t have to remember to.
Glass covered solar collector panels
Uniquely, the PERFECTHEAT solar collector panels are protected by toughened glass glazing. In the unlikely event of breakage the glazing frame can simply be removed and replaced with another without even switching the system off.
Thermostatic mixing valve for extra safety
The PERFECTHEAT solar thermal system is supplied complete with a thermostatic mixing valve which is pre-set to about 43°C (adjustable) to prevent any risk of scalding when running a bath or whilst showering.
Eco-Friendly
The PERFECTHEAT solar thermal system is more eco-friendly than conventional solar systems which require installers to remove perfectly good hot water cylinders in order to install solar hot water systems. The belief that there must be a better way drove the development of the PERFECTHEAT solar heat exchanger. Now the carbon footprint is a significantly lower because we can normally use the existing hot water cylinder.
